College football Week 11 odds, schedule: Undefeated Michigan, Georgia face top-10 opponents

There have been questions about the schedules Michigan and Georgia have faced so far this season, but those questions are going to get some answers this week. After Georgia had a close call against a ranked Missouri team, the Bulldogs now face a top-10 opponent in Ole Miss. Meanwhile, Michigan gets its first real opposition during a trip to Penn State. Both Georgia and Michigan are favored. The rest of the spreads and totals for college football’s Week 11 have also been posted.

Michigan heads to Penn State as a favorite, but by less than a touchdown. The Wolverines have blown away every opponent so far, but 6-3 Rutgers is probably the best team Michigan has played up to this point. Penn State will be anxious to prove it is better than the performance it showed in a 20-12 loss to Ohio State a few weeks ago.

Georgia continues to march through the SEC unbeaten, but hasn’t always been dominant this season. Missouri had a fourth-quarter drive with a chance to take the lead on Saturday, but the Bulldogs held strong. Will Ole Miss, which comes in at 8-1, be able to provide a tougher test and end the Bulldogs’ winning streak? Georgia is favored by double-digits at home. An Ole Miss win would put the Rebels in the College Football Playoff picture, although the SEC West is likely out of reach with Alabama still undefeated in SEC play. Georgia would clinch the SEC East with a victory.

There are two other top 25 matchups this week. Washington is favored by more than a touchdown against Utah. Plus, Missouri hosts Tennessee in a game the odds have as a toss-up. Elsewhere, Oregon hosts sliding USC, which is no longer ranked, as a three-score favorite.

For anyone on Iowa total watch, the bar is going lower. The total for the Hawkeyes’ game against Rutgers is 29.5 as of Monday morning. Last week’s Iowa-Northwestern game in Wrigley Field opened at 29.5, but creeped up a bit. Then Iowa won 10-7 on a last-minute field goal. How low can we go?

Here are the odds for every game featuring an AP top 25 team, plus a few other notable games in Week 11. No. 22 Notre Dame is the only AP top 25 team on a bye this week.
