Colts prop bets for NFL Week 14 at DraftKings Sportsbook

The Cincinnati Bengals will be a slight favorite as the Colts come to town on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET at Paycor Stadium.

This will be a telling game for backup quarterback Jake Browning, who won his first game as a starter in a 34-31 Week 13 victory on Monday Night Football against the Jaguars. He had a near-perfect performance.

The Colts have had their struggles, but they are a competent side with several high-caliber skill-position players. That said, with sports betting legal in Ohio, if you live in the state or one of the several states with sports betting, you can make prop bets, which are often on fan-favorite players.

Let’s dive into three Bengals-centric props to consider.

Jake Browning under 231.5 passing yards (-115)

The Bengals lit up a Jags secondary that sits 23rd in the league in completion percentage. The Colts aren’t a whole lot better, but they are better, ranking 12th. They allow 222.1 passing yards per game to opponents whereas Jacksonville sat 30th. This will be a tougher matchup for Browning, who is making just the third start of his young career.

The Colts defense is more similar to the Steelers, which he faced at home in Week 12. Pittsburgh gave up 227 yards. While Browning was impressive in the spotlight, it will be interesting to see if he can do it again. I would venture to say they keep his efficiency high, but that may not come with longer throws.

Gardner Minshew under 1.5 passing touchdowns (-140)

Cincinnati is allowing 1.3 passing touchdowns per game to its opponent. It will be taking on the Colts' backup here, and Minshew has had limited success this season. He has thrown for over 40 attempts in five games and in just two of those he had two touchdowns. He has yet to have a game with more than two touchdowns as well.

Minshew has started eight games and has thrown for two or more touchdowns in just three. He has had just one game in the past month which he has thrown for two touchdowns. Expect him to struggle against a secondary full of young talent that is continuing to improve.

Joe Mixon over 62.5 rushing yards (-115)

Joe Mixon needs to be the star of the show for this Cincinnati Bengals offense. He has gone over this total in two of his last three games and in six of his last nine. The Bengals need to attack the Colts' weakness as well which is their run game.

Indy ranks 26th in the NFL in opponents rushing yards per game (133.3). Mixon needs to be able to break through, and he has seen double-digit carries in all but one game this season. Expect him to dominate Sunday.
