Completely free bet on horse racing multiples for Sandown's Tingle Creek with Betfair

The stars of racing descend on Surrey this weekend in the Tingle Creek Festival at Sandown Park Racecourse with the addition of the Fighting Fifth Hurdle.

Betfair are offering ALL eligible customers a completely free bet to use on Friday and Saturday's Tingle Creek Festival held at Sandown!

Shishkin was due to have his first race at Ascot in the 1965 Chase but refused to run at the start.

As such trainer Nicky Henderson opted for a big call to run him in the Premier Handicap chase at Newcastle in the same meeting as Constitution Hill's first run of the season in the Fighting Fifth.

Due to the cold weather though the entire meeting was cancelled and the Grade 1 feature race has been rearranged quickly to instead feature in the Tingle Creek Festival on Saturday, making it an unmissable day.

But with options running low for Shishkin to get his first run of the season out of the way ahead of the Christmas contests, Henderson has opted to entertain a return to hurdles for the nine-year-old.

His last hurdle contest was back in the 2020 Cheltenham Festival winning the Supreme at 6/1.

He has great form and clearly improved as a runner since then but it still seems Constitution Hill will have far too much quality to beat his stablemate.

The feature race, Tingle Creek Chase, a Grade 1 contest across 1m7f also sees another Henderson-trained horse the talk of them all.

With Jonbon the heavy odds-on favourite since making it six wins from seven chases since switching disciplines last season.

Jonbon has clearly improved in his jumping and efficiency too and should justify this kind of a price when taking on these rivals again.

He beat Edwardstone by over nine lengths last time out and Captain Guinness by over three lengths here in April in the bet365 Celebration Chase - so it could be a huge day for Seven Barrows.

There's also the Rachael Blackmore Serial Winners Fund Handicap Hurdle that has attracted a few top-class and promising hurdlers.

The top two in the market are also trained by Henderson - with Impose Toi and King Alexander still entered into take each other on for the £31k prize.

The 2m hurdle contest is a great indicator for future races and should give much more insight into how good some of these horses are.

With many eyeing up festivals later on in the season - Langer Dan will hold top-weight in the handicap and the seven-year-old of course holds the best experience but should be caught out giving much weight away to rivals who should be better than their current mark.
