Cook Islands coach Rusty Matua criticises the Rugby League World Cup organisers for giving England a favourable route to the knockout stages. Cook Islands were thrashed 74-0 by Australia in the tournament opener. Sam Bremner scored four tries in her first game for the Jillaroos since the birth of her two children. Evania Pelite scored a hat-trick, Tarryn Aiken, Julia Robinson, Caitlan Johnston, Taliah Fuimaono and Shenae Ciesiolka crossed once. Australia and New Zealand are in a group with England. France lost 46- 0 to New Zealander in Group B’s other game.
