Cook Islands coach Rusty Matua criticises the Rugby League World Cup organisers for giving England a favourable route to the knockout stages. Cook Islands were thrashed 74-0 by Australia in their tournament opener. Sam Bremner scored four tries in her first game for the national team since the birth of her two children. Evania Pelite scored a hat-trick, Tarryn Aiken, Julia Robinson, Caitlan Johnston, Taliah Fuimaono and Shenae Ciesiolka crossed once. Australia and New Zealand are in the Cook Island's group.
