Cotton Bowl 2017: USC vs. Ohio State TV Schedule, Time and Odds

The New Year's Six kicks off on Friday night, when the USC Trojans and Ohio State Buckeyes face off in the Cotton Bowl at AT&T Stadium, Texas. Both teams are coming off victories in their respective conference championship games.

Darnold will play for the Trojans in the season finale against Ohio State. Ronald Jones II is the best player on the field. Uchenna Nwosu is a defensive star who has batted down 13 passes this season. Cameron Smith, Marvell Tell and Iman Marshall will be key to the defense.  The defensive front seven will make a difference. The Buckeyes will have to deal with the front 7. They will need to focus on running back duo Barrett and Jones. It will force the Buckeye receivers to carry the load.

Barrett has displayed a flair for the dramatic during his time at Ohio State. The team should focus on getting Dobbins and Weber into a rhythm before the start of the second quarter. If the team is successful in that, it will provide Barrett with more freedom to thrive through the air. Nick Bosa and Sam Hubbard are the keys on defense, as they must get pressure on Darnold and force him into the player he was at the beginning of this season.

USC is the favorite in the Cotton Bowl. The game could be a shootout between Darnold and Barrett.
