Maryland Lottery and Gaming announced that online sports betting could launch in the state in time for Thanksgiving. The next meeting of the Sports Wagering Application Review Commission will take place on November 16.

Maryland's sports betting legislation allows for up to 60 mobile sportsbooks at full maturity. There are only 10 mobile apps up for discussion in the first round of licensing this Wednesday. The following mobile games could be available in Maryland in time for Thanksgiving: PointsBet, Caesars, BetRivers, Barstool, Fanatics, and Parx Sportsbook.

The official launch date for mobile sports betting in Maryland is unknown. Mobile apps will be available to Maryland bettors on a rolling basis. Each operator will have to successfully complete controlled demonstrations of their systems and procedures before its launch.
