After his release from Manchester United this week, the 37-year-old is looking for a new club. He will, on Thursday, makes his World Cup 2022 bow with Portugal.

Centre stage as ever, Ronaldo conducted an interview with Piers Morgan earlier this month which ultimately led to his Old Trafford departure.

"Everyone at Manchester United remains focused on continuing the team’s progress under Erik ten Hag and working together to deliver success on the pitch."
