Darren Way sacked: Who is Neale Marmon? What we know about the caretaker manager in charge of Yeovil Town

Neale Marmon is the early frontrunner to become the next permanent Yeovil Town manager. He has been in charge since December 2015 and led Yeo to Football League safety. Darren is no longer in caretaker charge after a 2-0 defeat to MK Dons.

Neale Marmon was born in Bournemouth on April 21, 1961. He played for SC Rinteln, TuS Hessisch-Oldendorf, VfL Osnabrück, Hannover 96, Colchester United and FC 08 Homburg in Germany. His career ended in the lower leagues with stints with FSV Salmrohr and SV Elversberg.

The 57-year-old is a former player-manager at SV Elversberg and briefly the manager of SC Preußen Münster. He is more known for his coaching roles at FC Kutzhor and SG Schwemlingen/Tünsdorf/Ballern.

Neale Marmon is the caretaker manager of Yeovil Town. He joined Darren Way's coaching staff in January 2019. Way found out about Maron from his connections with Ipswich Town coach Steve Foley.

Neale Marmon is the current Yeovil Town caretaker manager. He is 3/1 favourite to become the new permanent manager at the club. Paul Hurst is second favourite at 4/3, Darrel Clarke is third at 4%. Kevin Nolan is 8/2, Phil Brown 8-1, Steve Evans 12-12, Shaun Derry 12/12 and David Hopkin 14-14.
