Darts sensation, 16, picks up four figure sum and averages almost 110 in final

Luke Littler, who is still just 16-years-old, has taken home a £5,000 cheque after picking up the Super Series Week 10 title.

Littler dispatched Nathan Girvan with ease in the final, winning 4-0, as he picked up the biggest result of his young career. The circuit is normally for players aged 18 and above, due to betting collaborations, but Littler's special talent saw him granted an exception.

The youngster averaged an incredible 109.31 in the final, and speaking afterwards he said: "Yeah, done the job got a 109 average." Clearly a man of few words, Littler summed up his monuments with: "No words."

Littler has been an open secret on the darts circuit for a few months now, but fans still can't believe he's only 16-years-old. One fan joked: "No matter how much I see Luke Littler, it’s still outrageous the amount of facial hair he has at 16!"

"Is it just me or has Luke Littler been 16 for a decade now," a second joked. While a third tweeted: "No chance this Luke Littler is 16!!!"

"Mate that Luke Littler is not 16 he looks about 30," a fourth joked. And another added: "Luke Littler is a tremendous talent but he's at least 30. There's no way he's 16!"

Littler made his UK Open debut last month - and the youngster put on a great showing, making it to the Last 64 losing out to Adam Gawlas. Despite losing, Littler put on a great display - and he averaged over 100 in the clash.

The following week, Littler competed at the Isle of Man Open, where he nailed a nine-dart finish. Inside the WDF tweeted: "No results to speak of and it's not ranked this year, BUT Luke Littler has hit a nine-darter in the Isle of Man Open singles, so that's pretty cool."
