Death of Peter Goulandris, former owner of Hesmonds Stud, aged 93
Peter Goulandris died at his home in Nassau at the age of 93. He was a prominent racehorse owner and former owner of Hesmonds Stud in Sussex. His best horses were Pas De Seul, the 1982 Prix de la Foret winner, and Terimon, who landed the Juddmonte International in 1991. The stud was sold in 2010. Lady O'Reilly was chairperson of the Irish National Stud between 1993 and 2013. She was also a tennis player. Goulands is survived by his wife Kathryn and three children. They have been married for 66 years.
