The Los Angeles Dodgers will face the Cincinnati Reds in a Spring Training matchup on Thursday at Goodyear Ballpark.

Newly acquired Japanese superstars Shohei Ohtani debut on Tuesday and Yoshinobu Yamamoto on Wednesday for the Dodgers. Ohtani hit a two-run homer in this third at-bat of Spring, and Yamamoto retired all three batters he faced, striking out three. For all the excitement surrounding Ohtani, Yamamoto looked like he could be one of the most impressive players in the MLB. He looked the part of an ace and could be the opening-day starter in Los Angeles for years to come.

Elly De La Cruz played in his first Major League action last year as the number one prospect in all of baseball and showed that he has the skills to be a future All-Star. He is a five-tool player with a unique skill set and has three hits in nine at-bats so far in camp. The Reds have a plethora of young talent and should only continue to get better.
