US guarding against overconfidence in Presidents Cup
US team is confident ahead of the Presidents Cup at Quail Hollow. They have won the last eight matches and lost just once. The last US victory was at Liberty National in 2013. Only four players from that team are at this week's tournament. Jordan Spieth is the only player with more than one Presidents cup win. The team has eight rookies on it. Two of them are in the top 25 in world rankings. There are seven players who return from the LIV Golf team. Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau are absent. Cameron Smith and Joaquin Niemann left the team three weeks ago.
