Eagles vs. Buccaneers: Follow these data-driven prop bets

NFL Wild Card weekend concludes on Monday night, when the Philadelphia Eagles (11-6) visit the NFC South champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-8). Both teams come stumbling into the playoffs, but one of these teams will be one of the final eight playing next weekend.

Betting on the NFLis fun, but betting on props gives fans even more to root for. Here are some of our favorite prop bets for Monday night’s matchup.

The best way to minimize your betting risk is to take advantage of the valuable sign-up promos on Michigan’s top sportsbooks.

  • Evans reached 70 yards receiving in fewer than half of his games, and in two games he accumulated exactly 70 yards
  • In the Bucs Week 3 matchup against Philadelphia, Evans had 60 receiving yards.
  • With Darius Slay expected to return to action for the Eagles, he could shadow Evans and slow him down, making this total difficult to reach.

  • Swift struggled to find the end zone, especially late in the year, as he had just one touchdown in his final six games played (Swift did not play in their Week 18 loss to the Giants).
  • But the Eagles are so injured, with their top two receiving weapons unsure to play and Jalen Hurts with a dislocated finger.
  • They are more likely to get back to running the football, and Swift is their most trusted backfield weapon. Because of Hurts’ injury, it wouldn’t be surprising if they moved away from the “Brotherly Shove” to more of a traditional running play.
  • Swift should be the main beneficiary, and these are great odds from DraftKings Sportsbook.

Let’s have some fun with this last prop. There is admittedly little wiggle room for this prop to hit, but the payout if it hits is enormous. Why not dream a little bit? Let’s break down this SGP piece by piece:

  • The under is the play in this game, as both offenses have really struggled to score lately.
  • Mayfield entered last week’s dud against Carolina having thrown multiple touchdowns in four straight games. Despite what we said about Evans (and maybe the under), the Eagles have been a sieve defensively, allowing 25 or more points in each of their final three games.
  • Hurts has to throw to somebody, and Goedert looks like the healthiest option he’s got.

Like we said, it will be difficult for all these bets to hit but, as mentioned earlier, options for props are currently limited. Might as well take some shots.
