Early betting moves ahead of Day 1 at Royal Ascot

Australian raider Coolangatta has been one of the firmers for the Group 1 King's Stand Stakes in the UK which will be run in the early hours of Wednesday morning Australian time.

The Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained mare opened at a high price of $4.80 when Australian wagering operators opened their markets post the barrier draw but the daughter of Written Tycoon is now at a top quote of $4.20.

The first of five days of racing at the Royal Ascot carnival kicks off at 11.30pm on Tuesday night Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
