Early Cox Plate, Manikato Stakes, Spring Champion Stakes and The Invitation tips

The News Corp racing and sports wagering team has put together an expert panel to give you the early inside running on feature races in Melbourne and Sydney this spring. The panel of five will be offering their early thoughts on all of the Group 1 races and other feature contests during the spring, through until the end of Melbourne Cup carnival. This week's edition is the seventh of 10 weeks and it covers Manikato Stakes (1200m) on October 21, Cox Plate (2040m), Spring Champion Stake (2000m and The Invitation (1400m). Next week the edition will cover the Victoria Derby, Coolmore Stud Stages, Empire Rose Stags and Golden Eagle.

Clinton Payne is a multiple Group 1 winner. She is well in at weight-for-age and proven track and distance.

BELLA NIPPOTINA is worth $15. She won her first-up race in the Listed Carlyon Stakes.

The Inferno will run in the Moir Stakes on Friday night. Oracle is banking on him not getting an Everest slot so he'll run the Manikato.

SEPTEMBER RUN ($11) won the Group 1 William Reid Stakes at The Valley in autumn.

BELLA NIPPOTINA is a mare who loves The Valley. Tony Brassel recommends her for early Cox Plate, Manikato Stakes, Spring Champion Stake and The Invitation.

Bella Nipotina will race at Cox Plate (2040m) at The Valley on October 21.

ANAMOE is the best middle-distance horse in the land. His preparation centre's around him going one better in Cox Plate this year.

ANAMOE is a weight-for-age star. He has won back-to-back Group 1 races over 1400m and 1600m. James Cummings and co. finished second in this event last year.

Oracle.com's Thunderstruck is going to the grand final this Sunday. He will play against Zaaki and Mr Brightside. Thunderstrunk won the Makybe Diva. Oracle.co.uk's early Cox Plate, Manikato Stakes, Spring Champion Stake and The Invitation tips are available.

ANAMOE ($3.50) has won the Winx Stakes and George Main Stake this spring. Ray Thomas has early Cox Plate, Manikato St.akes, Spring Champion Stages and The Invitation tips.

Tony Brassel is running well in his Spring campaign.

Clinton Payne is an above-average colt. He caught the eye finding the line in the Ming Dynasty.

James Lamb is on a Spring Champion, Victoria Derby path this spring. He was well-held in the Group 3 Ming Dynasty (1400m) but there was still plenty to like about his second to the promising Golden Mile.

Oracle.sharp n smart won in New Zealand over 1400m. He's by Redwood and is heading to Australia for the Gloaming and the Spring Champion.

Ray Thomas' Matcha Latte won his maiden at the Kensington midweeks last month. He finished second behind Godolphin colt Golden Mile in the Ming Dynasty Quality. Match a Latty is by champion Arrowfield stallion Maurice, sire of dual Derby winner Hitotsu.

Tony Brassel is an exciting staying prospect. He's built as though he'll run a trip. Kris Lees has trained him that way. The Invitation is at Randwick on October 22.

Clinton Payne is going well and Brad Widdup knows what he needs to do to win this race near the end of her spring campaign.

Snapdancer is the $4.50 favourite for the 1400m race. Startantes beat Snapd dancer in the Group 1 Tatt's Tiara over this trip and was solid first-up in Sydney.

Oracle won the race last year. She finished second to Anamoe in the George Main on Saturday. If it's wet, she's an even better chance to win.

Snapdancer won the Group 1 Memsie Stakes last start. She has good tactical speed and settles in a forward position in her races.

SNAPDANCER is a good value over the 1400m.
