England men name U20 squad for World Rugby U20 Championship

Steve Bates has named his 28-player squad for the 2019 World Rugby U20 Championship in Argentina. The tournament will be played between 4-22 June. The 12 participating nations have been drawn in three pools of four teams based on rankings from the 2018 edition. England have won the competition three times and last lifted the Championship in 2016. There are 653 players who have graduated from U 20s to play Test rugby since New Zealand won it in 2008.

England U20s have four fixtures in World Rugby U 20 Championship. They play Ireland on 4 June, Italy on 8 June and Australia on 12 June. Knockout stages are on Monday, 17 June with finals on Saturday, 22 June live on ITV.
