England vs. Australia In-Play Odds: Fifth Ashes Test

An engrossing and topsy-turvy Ashes Series comes to an end on Monday with the fifth and final day of the fifth and final Test.

Australia, on 135-0 after an excellent fourth day, chase the 249 runs they now need to secure a 3-1 Series win. A draw will also mean they record their first Series victory in England since 2001, while England need to bowl the visitors out in order to win and subsequently salvage a draw.

Below we look at who holds the edge going into Monday, picking out two tips to end what has been a thoroughly compelling Series.

Could we be in store for one last twist?

England were in a commanding position heading into the fourth day, before adding a further six runs thanks to a thumping Stuart Broad six to end on 395.

However, England's fifth Test lead of 383 has been whittled down to 248 thanks to an impressive batting display by Australia's opening duo of Usman Khawaja (69) and David Warner (58) who have taken their side to 135-0.

As a result, it's Australia who are now favoured with the bookmakers to win the Test and secure a 3-1 win, with William Hill pricing the visitors at 7/10.

England's odds have subsequently drifted out to 12/5 to claim the spoils, while a second successive draw can be backed at 5/1.

England vs Australia In-Play Tips

Stuart Broad - Top England Wicket Taker (2nd Innings)

It will be an emotional day for the fiercely competitive Stuart Broad as he prepares for his final outing in cricket after he announced that he will retire following the conclusion of this summer's Ashes.

After a difficult fourth day, Broad and England will be hoping that he can conjure up one last fairytale.

With that said, I'm backing the 37-year-old at 23/10 (Paddy Power) to be England's Top Wicket Taker in the second innings.

The right-arm seamer, who recently passed 600 Test wickets, has accumulated 20 wickets so far this Series - more than any of his teammates and second only to Mitchell Starc - and will be gunning to electrify the crowd one last time on Monday as he looks to bid farewell in style.

Stuart Broad to take 5+ Wickets

England have it all to do in the final day but a couple of early dismissals would change everything.

Broad, so often the player that flicks the switch to transform his side into life, will be called upon frequently by his skipper and has been handed odds of 10/1 to take 5+ Wickets on the final day.

Just imagine the scenes if he does.
