England vs. New Zealand 4th T20 International Tips

An entertaining T20 series between England and New Zealand will come to a close on Tuesday night at Trent Bridge and with the Black Caps thrashing Jos Buttler's side on Sunday afternoon it means that England head into the final match 2-1 in front in the series. Ahead of Friday's 1st One-Day International, where both sides will be looking to find form ahead of the Cricket World Cup, we preview Tuesday night's clash.

Our man Steve Chambers has taken a look at the latest betting and picks out his best two tips for the contest in Nottingham...

England are red-hot 1/2 favourites to seal a 3-1 victory over New Zealand and one of the driving forces of the home side's batting line-up is Harry Brook, who failed to hit a score on Sunday afternoon, but he has previously impressed in this mini-series. The Yorkshireman warmed up for New Zealand with a stunning century in The Hundred and he continued that fine form in the first two matches with scores of 43* and 67. Now, as it stands, Harry Brook is not part of England's Cricket World Cup squad heading to India in a few weeks time, so he will be desperate to try and continue his excellent form.

Currently a 5/1 chance to be the top England batsman, Brook is a more attractive 9/1 shot to be named player of the match and his swashbuckling, free-flowing style will certainly see him score his runs at a real rate of knots and he could well inspire England to victory. Coming in at number four, Brook will likely come in after the powerplay, but his ability to hit the ball over the ropes means he could well storm England on to a massive score - should they bat first!

Harry Brook - Player Of The Match

New Zealand opening batsman Finn Allen smashed a stunning 83 off 53 balls on Sunday afternoon and the 24-year-old is the man to follow again on Tuesday and he's currently the 100/30 market leader alongside Devon Conway to be the top Kiwis batsman and that is worth backing.

Glenn Phillips has been superb in the middle order for the visitors and he could well challenge Allen for top batsman honours, but with Allen opening the batting then he is the man to follow and having hit six 6s and four 4s during his match-winning innings at the weekend it's Allen that could well get the Black Caps off to a fine start and put the pressure on English bowlers from the get-go.
