Envoy predicts Super Eagles victory over Ronaldo's Portugal. The two continental giants will play each other in Lisbon on Thursday, November 17. Portugal are 2016 European champions and have Cristiano Ronaldo, Leao, and Bernardo Silva. Nigeria's ambassador to Portugal, Alex Kefas, tips the Superagles to win.
Envoy Alex Kefas is confident that Nigeria will beat Portugal 2-0 in their World Cup qualifier on November 24. It's the first time Nigeria's national team will play Portugal since the country established diplomatic relations with Portugal 48 years ago. Portugal will kick off their campaign against the Black Stars on the same day. Portugal are in Group H alongside Ghana, Uruguay and South Korea. Nigeria and Portugal signed an agreement on youth and sports during the visit.
