Erik ten Hag given golden opportunity to rethink Cristiano Ronaldo stance at Man Utd

Erik ten Hag is the new Manchester United manager. He is already facing his first crisis as he has to deal with Cristiano Ronaldo's personal issues. Cristian Ronaldo wants to leave United this summer. Erik ten Hag insists that Cristiana is not for sale. He has not taken charge of a single match yet. United are in Thailand for the first leg of their pre-season tour. They play a friendly against Liverpool on Tuesday.

Erik ten Hag has a chance to change Cristiano Ronaldo's stance at Manchester United. Ronaldo earns around £500,000 per week at Old Trafford. PSG and Chelsea are considering a move for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski. Bayern want Barcelona to pay £42.34m up front for Lewandowksi.  Barcelona are cash-strapped and may not be able to afford the payment.

Erik ten Hag should let Cristiano Ronaldo go this summer. Erik ten Hag is looking for attacking players. He should consider signing Robert Lewandowski. Lewowski is four years younger than Ronaldo. He has scored 344 goals and made 72 assists in 375 appearances for Bayern Munich. United have a weak hand when it comes to signing players, but if they offload Ronaldo they would be able to offer high wages and the star role in a young team.
