Europa League Matchday 5 preview: Knockout stages beckon for United and Arsenal

The fifth matchday in this year's Europa League Group Stage takes place on Thursday. English teams are going from strength to strength and closing in on qualification for the knockout stages.

Manchester United have won three of their last four matches in the Europa League. They play Sheriff Tiraspol on Thursday. Cristiano Ronaldo is favourite to score a goal for the home side. Sheriff have lost all but one of the games in this competition. Manchester United lost to Real Sociedad in their first Group Stage game in September. Ibrahim Rasheed Akanbi is the favourite scorer for Sheriff.
