Ex-darts world champion told he ‘looks 10 years younger’ in rare public appearance as he tries hand at new sport

ADRIAN LEWIS looked happy and healthy as he made a rare public appearance playing a new sport.

The arrowman swapped darts for a fishing rod as he competed in the Sport Stars Fishing Championship.

Lewis quit the professional darts circuit earlier this year after tumbling down the PDC rankings.

He has since reinvented himself as a fisherman and he left fans impressed with his body transformation.

Lewis appears to have lost a healthy amount of weight and looked happier and younger as he posed with a fish he caught.

One fan said: "Looks 10 years younger. Break doing him good."

Another added: "Looking great"

A third wrote: "Wow champ, amazing weight loss, keep it up, we want to see you back throwing arrows."

And another commented: "You look amazing. Whatever you are doing stick with it. Would be great to see you back playing though "

In April Lewis announced he was taking an indefinite break from darts to deal with a private matter.
