F1 schedule: Italian Grand Prix starting grid, TV schedule, channel, live stream, race time

Max Verstappen won his second straight home Grand Prix and the fourth race in a row at the Dutch Grand prix last week. Mercedes had excellent race pace and were seeing terrific tire life after starting on the Mediums.

F1 is heading south to Monza for the Italian Grand Prix. The Dutch Army will be replaced with the Tifosi, Ferrari's passionate supporters. There are reports that Mick Schumacher is leaving the Ferrari Driver program and possibly his seat at Haas.

Verstappen's 10th win of the season gives him 109 points. Charles Leclerc and Sergio Perez are second and third on 201 points, respectively. Red Bull Racing extended their gap over Ferrari in the Constructors' Championship. Mercedes are 30 points behind Ferrari, despite Hamilton's zero points at Spa. Alpine are 24 points ahead of McLaren.

The Monza circuit is known as the 'Temple of Speed' with long straights and tight corners. The front stretch sees the second of two DRS zones heading into Turn 1. Last season Hamilton and Verstappen collided there.

Max Verstappen is the clear favorite to win at Monza at -265. Charles Leclerc is second favourite at +650. Lewis Hamilton is next best at (+800). Lando Norris, Estaban Ocon, Sebastian Vettel & Lance Stroll are also in the top six. Ferrari's last race in Italy was a disaster. They return for the Italian Grand Prix after a series of blunders. They are hoping to finish the season strong and build towards a 2023 Championship challenge. If Ver stappens wins at the Mona it will be his fifth in a row, tying him for 6th longest win streak in F1 history.

Practice 1 is on Friday 9/9 at 7:55 am. Practice 2 is at 10: 55 am on Saturday 9:10. Qualifying is Saturday, 9 September at 9.55. Grand Prix Sunday is Sunday 9 Sept at 8:50 am and the race is 9 Sep at 08:45 am, on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes.

Ferrari is back in Italy for the Italian Grand Prix. Max Verstappen is favorite to win. McLaren are struggling to find their form. Alfa Romeo is the only team that can catch McLaren for 6th place in the Constructors Championship. Ferrari has won twice since the last time they were in Italian GP. Aston Martin has scored points in 10 of the past 12 rounds. They are in better form than other teams. The team is also in good shape. It is unlikely that they will catch Alfomobile for sixth place. Ferrari is hoping to finish the season strong and build towards a 2023 Championship challenge.
