Familiar Faces, Human And Equine, Head To The Caribbean For The Barbados Gold Cup

Horses are going to the Gotham Stakes in South Ozone Park, Queens, on Saturday afternoon. The Barbados Gold Cup is taking place in Garrison Savannah, Barbado on the first Saturday in March. There are 85 points on offer for the winner of the race. Last year's winner Sayler’s Creek is owned by Ken and Sarah Ramsey. War Envoy is trained by Wesley Ward. Derby Kitten is a homebred bred by Steve Samaroo.   The winner is sired by Hard Spun, runner-up in the 2007 Kentucky Derby. Watchyourownbobber is bred and owned in Florida by Mr. Steve Sambo.
