The current Fanatics promotion gets new users the jersey of their choice with any $50 wager on the platform, regardless of market.
This is one of the only promotions in the country that is structured not as a standard Bet and Get or First Bet Insurance offer, but with new users earning some merch with their wager.
Currently, Fanatics is only available in four states: Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio and Tennessee so this promotion is, at this point, only eligible for bettors in those states.
That being said, Fanatics Sportsbook agreed to purchase the American arm of PointsBet for $225 million earlier this summer. As of August 31, Fanatics closed on eight states: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Former PointsBet customers in those states will see a revamped brand headlined as, “PointsBet, a Fanatics Experience.”
That moniker will also be adopted for Illinois and Indiana when Fanatics eventually closes there, which will reportedly be later this year.
This acquisition will jumpstart the Fanatics brand and put Fanatics Sportsbook in immediate competition with some of the existing sports betting giants like FanDuel, Caesars Sportsbook, BetMGM and DraftKings.

After signing up for an account with Fanatics Sportsbook, new users will need to make a small deposit and place a $50 on any market to unlock this promotion.
Regardless of the status of that wager, every new user will be eligible to get an official jersey from whatever team or of whatever player they choose.
This promotion runs until Sept. 18 at 11:59 p.m. but players who have claimed this promotion have until Oct. 14 to get their jersey.
For example, if a new user in Ohio places a $50 cash wager on the Lions at +180 against the the Chiefs (-225). If that bet wins, the new user will collect $90 in profit and keep their stake.
Regardless of the status of that bet though, the new Ohio user will get to pick their favorite jersey as part of the current Fanatics promotion.
