Miami and Messi come into the clash against their interstate rivals Orlando on fire after the Argentinian World Cup winner propelled them to back-to-back wins in the group stage of the Leagues Cup, a competition between American (and Canadian) MLS teams and top-division Mexican clubs.

The 36-year-old followed up his stunning last-gasp free-kick winner against Cruz Azul with two goals, one assist, and an all-around majestic performance in the 4-0 demolition of Atlanta United last time out. His class is showing immediately at this level, as everyone expected it would.

That Atlanta win was his first start in the pink of Inter Miami and, barring any unforeseen surprises, he will lead the team again at DRV PNK Stadium on Wednesday night.
