FBI back at FIFA, teaming up to protect the World Cup
FBI is working with FIFA to protect the World Cup in Qatar from potential crime. The U.S. is co-hosting the next World Cups with Canada and Mexico. FIFA's Integrity Task Force will monitor betting markets and in-game action in real time. The FIFA World cup starts on November 20. It follows a seven-year-long federal investigation and related Swiss case that led to FIFA president Sepp Blatter being banned for financial misconduct.
