CHESTUNUT HILL -- Virginia (0-4, 0-1 ACC) continues ACC play on Saturday (Sept. 30) on the road game at Boston College (1-3, 0-2 ACC) looking for its first win of the season. The 'Hoos are also hoping to end a seven game skid that stretches back to last season - their last win coming on their last ACC road game on Oct. 20, a 16-9 victory at Georgia Tech.

Sam Westfall forces the fumble and UVA recovers
UVA goes three and out and are forced to punt.
THIRD QUARTER
BC was able to move the ball on the ground a bit but the Eagles have to settle for a field goal and UVA still leads 21-10 with 9:47 to go in the 3rd quarter.
Nice 30-yard return by Malik Washington but the 'Hoos offense goes 3-and-out and are forced to punt.. then they were penalized on the punt kick.. a kick catch interference.
Castellanos finds Bond for 33 yards TD and BC takes the lead 24-21
HALFTIME
SECOND QUARTER
UVA LB Josh Ahern intercepts Castellanos. First down Hoos in great field position at the BOS 37. The defense has two takeaways today.Muskett runs for 9 yards on second down.. and then goes for the QB sneak on 3rd and 1. That is called back after an encroachment penalty on Ty Furnish makes it 3rd and 6.. Nice play design there by UVA. Muskett finds Malachi Fields for 14 yards and the first down. Muskett then throws and impressive ball to Malik Washington for the 18-yard touchdown. 'Hoos up 14-0 with 12:11 to go in the first half.
A penalty details BC's drive and they are forced to punt.
Muskett on the run.. runs towards the right sideline and finds Malik Washington for a 15-yard completion.. then Mike Hollins 13-runs and then Tony Muskett with a long 11 yard run but then Ugonna Nnaana is called for holding and Ty Furnish is called for a false start. They are forced to punt.
UVA defense not letting BC move the ball.. nice tackles by both Coen King and Josh Ahern and the Eagles are forced to punt.
Muskett sacked for the second time and the 'Hoos are forced to punt.
Missed tackles and a PI put BC is in the red zone after Castellanos finds Bond for 34 yards.. and the Eagles take advantage Garwo runs it in for a 2-yard TD.
Nice catch by UVA freshman Jaden Gibson. Muskett escapes and completes a 23-yard throw to the first year receiver. Muskett follows that up with a nice throw down the middle for 13-yards. Muskett called for intentional grounding... Muskett escapes the pressure and finds Malachi Fields in the endzone, who fights and comes down with the 39-yard TD catch.
FIRST QUARTER
Boston College wins the coin toss and Virginia will start with the ball.
The 'Hoos moving the ball down the field well. That was a nice down field throw from Muskett to Fields for first down. He then follows it up with a nice first down to throw to Malik Washington. First and goal for UVA on the BC 6-yard line.... Nice job by Muskett, who finds Mike Hollins and Hollins runs it to the corner of the end zone. UVA takes the 7-0 lead over BC with 10:25 to go in the first quarter.
BC moving down field with Castellanos finding O'Keefe for 15 yards... forced to punt
Kobe Pace only has short gains and then Tony Muskett was sacked when his pocket collapsed around him.
Special teams is still an issue. 25-yard punt return by BC's Lewis Bond. The Eagles start the drive with good field position.BC going for 4th-and-6... and UVA freshman CB Dre Walker has his first career interception.
Virginia can't take the opportunity.. after a nice pass from Muskett to Washington gets them the nine yards UVA can't move the ball and an offsides penalty doesn't help. UVA is forced to punt. Noah Hartsoe and Jimmy Christ is in on the right side.
