Five times Drake lost mega-money bets after Jake Paul disaster
From Israel Adesanya's TKO defeat to Jake Paul's split decision loss against Tommy Fury - Drake has lost a fortune in sports bets by backing the wrong man.
The Canadian rapper, singer and actor keeps his eye on the big events but alongside his wins have been some painful blunders that have taken a chunk out of his earnings.
Daily Star Sport have taken a look at five of the biggest blunders the 36-year-old has made public - with almost a million gone on the World Cup final alone.
£186k - Charles Leclerc
Drake lost a cool £186,000 at the Spanish Grand Prix back in May after Charles Leclerc had to retire following an engine failure in his Ferrari.
Making use of his partnership with cryptocurrency platform Stake to place the funds, Drake admitted that it was his first ever F1 bet.
Leclerc started on pole and led for 27 laps and looked the likely winner until Drake's chances of winning £470k came to an end.
£231k - Jorge Masvidal
Drake lost another huge sum while backing an individual back at UFC 272 back in March, with Jorge Masvidal beaten convincingly by welterweight rival Colby Covington.
Masvidal was a huge underdog having lost his last two fights to former champion Kamaru Usman, and it showed across five unforgiving rounds.
Despite the size of the flutter, it is by a long way not Drake's biggest UFC blunder, with more details coming later on in our list.
£335k - Jake Paul
Drake was more confident than most that Jake Paul would win his first bout against a professional boxer - confident to the tune of £335,000.
Drake placed the bet on the Problem Child to emerge victorious in Saudi Arabia, but only one of the judges saw it that way as Tommy Fury won a split decision.
Another star to lost a large sum on the bout was Tyson Fury, who waved goodbye to £100,000 with his younger brother failing to win by KO.
£538k - Arsenal and Barcelona
Back in October came Drake's dive into club football, with a mega £533,000 double on Barcelona to beat Real Madrid and Arsenal to beat Leeds.
Standing to win £745,000, Arsenal got the job done in a nervy affair but Barcelona couldn't overcome their 3/1 underdog tag in the capital.
However, that would not be Drake's biggest flopped footballing bet of the calendar year, with his World Cup prediction ending in pain.
£818k - Argentina
Although Argentina went on to lift the 2022 World Cup following a penalty shoot-out against France - Drake thought they'd get the job done earlier.
He placed a bet of £818,000 on Lionel Scaloni's men to win in 90 minutes and might've been getting excited as they took a 2-0 lead in the half-time break.
However, with Kylian Mbappe scoring twice in a minute to send the game to extra-time, Drake's money was gone no matter the end result.
£1.7m - Israel Adesanya
Drake backed Adesanya to come out victorious at UFC 281 - but he was brutally stopped by rival Alex Pereira as £1.7m went down the drain.
Adesanya lost twice to Pereira in kickboxing but his only previous defeat in professional MMA came at light-heavyweight with his middleweight crown defended five times.
With Pereira becoming the new champion with a fifth-round triumph, Drake's potential £2.4m windfall was gone.
The wins
It's only fair to mention a few of Drake's wins while delving into his betting habits, with over £3million coming thanks to Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann at UFC London in July.
He also pocketed just short of £1m thanks to Adesanya's routine win over Jared Cannonier, while one of his seven Super Bowl bets came in for a handsome return of £425,000 on the night.
In addition, all of his losses were wiped out with one spin of a roulette wheel back in October - with £11m in winnings thanks to his lumping on the number 11.
