Five-try Havies drub CH 31-17
Havelocks came from behind to beat CH and FC by 31 points to 17 points in their Nippon Paint ‘A’ Division inter-club League rugby match. The match got off to a fabulous start with both sets of forwards engaged in a hectic battle for possession. CH opened scoring in the fifth minute of the game and went into a 7-0 lead. In the 24th minute Havies equalled the score 7 all with hooker Azmeer Fajudeen touching down for a try. Nivanka Prasad scored a tries and fly half Sandesh Jayawickrema slotted in his conversion. Shehan Dias scored 21-7 and Jaywickrrea fired across the conversion in 49th minutes. Randitha Warnapura scored 26-10 in 71st minute.
