Floyd Mayweather Jr. will fight Mikuru Asakura on Sunday in Saitama, Japan. The pay-per-view will begin on Saturday night in the United States.
Mayweather is preparing his fourth exhibition fight in Saitama. He is expected to make $15-20 million. The Japanese featherweight Asakura is 16-3 as a pro and 15 years Mayweather's junior. Mayweather is not going to be aggressive and let Asura land his shots. The exhibition is only three rounds. It will be streamed live on FITE.tv. In his last fight, Mayweather landed 43 punches over eight rounds in his June 2021 clash with Logan Paul. Tenshin Nasukawa couldn't make it out of the first round against Mayweather. His December 2018 fight was one-sided.
