Football Well Represented on All-Ivy League Squads

Townsend was a starter in all 10 games and had six sacks. Giorgi was one of the best rushing players in the conference. Hughes was the team's first-string punter in final four games of 22. Jenkins was another standout for the Lions with 38 catches for 440 yards and three touchdowns. Parker started all ten games at cornerback. Senior defensive lineman Moyer was an Academic All-Ivy League recipient. He was also a semifinalist for William V. Campbell Trophy. The award is given to the most outstanding student-athlete from the Ivy League.

Football Well Represented on All-Ivy League Squads. Joshua Pitsenberger, Yale's rookie, is Rookie of the Year. Tony Reno, the coach of Yale, was Coach of The Year, and he named his team to the All Ivy League teams. The team is made up of players from the Ivy leagues. The players are from Massachusetts, New York, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, Rhode Island, Illinois, California, Florida, Hawaii, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Jersey.
