Former Premier League player predicts Cristiano Ronaldo will send Portugal crashing out of World Cup
Portugal are playing Switzerland in the last 16 of the 2022 World Cup. Chris Sutton believes Cristiano Ronaldo will miss the decisive penalty in a shootout. Sutton also criticised Ronaldo for cheating during the win over Ghana. Switzerland beat Portugal in June and knocked them out of Euro 2020. The winner will play either Morocco or Spain for a place in World cup semi-final. It would be Ronaldo's last World Cups. He has scored at five World Championships. Switzerland have upset the odds before at major tournaments. They beat Spain in 2010 and France in Euro 2016. The winner of this year's World Championship will face either Spain or Morocco.
