Four Willie Mullins-trained horses to watch at the 2022 Cheltenham Festival

Henry de Bromhead won the Champion Hurdle, Queen Mother Champion Chase and the Gold Cup at the Cheltenham Festival last year. His compatriot Willie Mullins took the Leading Trainer award for the third time in a row. He has won 78 races at Prestbury Park, more than any other trainer.

Ferny Hollow returned from a 380-day break to win twice in December. He beat Coeur Sublime by four lengths to won a Beginners Chase at Punchestown earlier in the month and won the Grade 1 Racing Post Novice Chase on Boxing Day. Ferny is short-price favourite to take the Arkle Challenge Trophy at Cheltenham.

Allaho is expected to defend his Ryanair Chase title this year. Chacun Pour Soi won the Punchestown Champion Chase last month.

Klassical Dream is the favourite in the Stayers’ Hurdle ante-post market. The eight-year-old won the Champion Stayer Huddle at Punchestown in April. He has won a Christmas Hudle for the first time this season at Leopardstown Christmas Festival.

Willie Mullins' Al Boum Photo came up short of a hat-trick of successive Gold Cup triumphs last year. Tornado Flyer won the King George VI Chase and his odds have been slashed to 10/1 for the Gold cup.
