From Aaron Judge to Barry Bonds, Giants preparing for busy MLB Winter Meetings

The Texas Rangers signed Jacob deGrom to a five-year, $185 million deal. Bruce Bochy, who retired, watched as his new bosses signed one of the most dominant arms in MLB history. The buzz in the lobby at the Manchester Grand Hyatt is that the sport is prepping for an insane week of action and big deals. Giants are expected to be right in to the middle of it.

This week is the Winter Meetings. The focus will be on the Giants.

Aaron Judge is expected to make a decision this week. Yankees and Giants are in a dead heat. It is estimated that it will take nine years to secure Judge's signature. The final cost of the contract could be around $340 million.

The Giants are interested in signing a shortstop. They are looking for a player to play with Brandon Crawford. Carlos Correa, Trea Turner, Dansby Swanson and Xander Bogaerts are all still available. Correza is the biggest star the Giants could sign if Aaron Judge returns to the Bronx. Turner played second base when he was traded to a Dodgers team that had Kyle Seager at short. Carlos Rodón is likely to find a big contract elsewhere. The Giants have a lot of young pitchers. They hosted Kodai Senga at Oracle Park last month.
