From Cebu to Benguet: ONE Warrior Series PH winner finds home with Team Lakay

Adonis Sevilleno will join Team Lakay. He was born and raised in Bantayan Island, Cebu. Sevileno won the reality TV series "One Warrior Series Philippines" and earned a $100,000 contract with ONE Championship. He turned pro in 2016 after a promising three-year run in the amateur ranks. Team Lakay has produced seven world champions and many promising prospects. It is located in La Trinidad, Benguet. The team consists of Mark Sangiao, Ernesto Montilla Jr., Ariel Lampacan, Joevincent So, Ariel Oliveros, Norman Agcopra, and Raymund Ortega.

Sevilleno is scheduled for a promotional debut at the much-awaited ONE 164 in Pasay City, Metro Manila on Saturday, December 3. He will fight former URCC bantamweight champion Drex Zamboanga. Zamboanga has a win-loss slate of 11-3 with six victories by knockout and four via submission. Sevilleno is determined to prove his worth to his team, Team Lakay.
