Team news

French centre-back Raphael Varane will travel with the United squad to Craven Cottage as Erik ten Hag has confirmed that he is fit to play.

He also added that Victor Lindelof will miss out on the action through illness.

The Dutchman said in a press conference: "Varane is ready to play. So he will be travelling with the squad. Just Victor Lindelof [is a doubt]. Some illness, we have to see if he's ready tomorrow."

United are still without Luke Shaw and Casemiro through injury as United head into what many consider a must-win tie.

Asked whether or not he believes that this game holds such importance ten Hag replied: "I never think in such scenarios I think in we have to win every game, we have to put effort in and I'm sure the players are ready to put that plan in.

"I think the players are hard to beat and in this moment, obviously you have two defeats, we didn't show it. I'm convinced long-term the players will be hard to beat and they know how to do it."
