Fulham vs. Tottenham Odds, Predictions & Betting Tips

Monday Night Football heads to the capital for the 8pm clash between Fulham and Tottenham.

A win for hosts Fulham (7th) would propel Marco Silva's side above their opponents into 5th - and within five points of the top-4 - while Spurs will be bidding to bounce back from consecutive defeats and narrow the gap on Man Utd in 4th.

Scott Thornton has picked out two betting angles for the match...

Tottenham travel to Fulham on Monday night and they will want to bounce back from back-to-back defeats.

They played well in the first half at the Etihad but were blown away in the first 18 minutes of the second half.

The performance against Arsenal was heavily criticised and there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding Spurs at the moment. There is a growing feeling that Antonio Conte won’t be at the club next season.

Fulham have done tremendously well on their return to the Premier League. They could go above Spurs with a win here and are shaping up to be unlikely candidates for European football.

Marco Silva’s side have won their last matches at home 2-1 and would love a repeat of that scoreline here.

Despite only securing one victory in their last five Premier League matches, Tottenham's recent performances on the road have been strong. They have scored at least two goals in their last four away matches, including a decisive 4-0 win against London rivals Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

However, their defensive errors have been a concern, and they will need to improve quickly to maintain their historical success against opponents like Fulham, who they narrowly defeated 2-1 at home earlier this season.

Additionally, they have won each of their last six Premier League matches at Craven Cottage, but past victories will be irrelevant if they cannot address their defensive issues.

Fulham vs Tottenham Tips

Odegaard anytime goalscorer + Bruno Fernandes booked

Tottenham allow their opponents to have the ball and frequently invite them to shoot. In away matches this season, their opponents are averaging 16.1 shots per game. The required line for this bet has landed in eight of 10 away matches.

Fulham are averaging 13.1 shots per game at Craven Cottage this season. They have played some good football and pose a significant threat going forward. Mitrovic is set to start and he will want to improve on his poor display against Newcastle. His aerial presence should increase the Fulham shot count here.

The last time these sides met at this ground was in 2021. Fulham had 11 shots that day and they have improved since that meeting. We should see them have good shot numbers again as long as they don’t take an early lead.

There were 44 throws in the reverse fixture and they look backable again here. Fulham’s home league matches are averaging just under 45 throws per game. Tottenham’s away matches are averaging just 34.8 but that number should be inflated against this Fulham side.

When Fulham played Chelsea in their last home match there was 46 throws.

Over 14.5 Shots For Fulham & Over 42.5 Throws

For our longer odds bet we are going to take the same angles as the main bet with increased lines.

There have been 43 throws or more in six of Fulham’s nine home matches.

They have had 15 shots or more in four of their nine home matches so we will need them to perform at their best for this to land.

However, confidence is high and they are more than capable of putting Spurs under pressure.
