GambetDC Interface Changes Yet To Be Introduced, Coming Soon
GambetDC is Washington, D.C.'s lottery-run sports betting app. It has a difficult interface for bettors familiar with the major sportsbook platforms.
The D.C. Lottery wants GambetDC to perform more like BetMGM, Caesars Sportsbook, or FanDuel. The lottery wants to roll out the changes before the football season. Mobile sportsbooks will be available in Virginia and Maryland by the end of 2022.
GambetDC interface changes are coming soon. D.C. has several noteworthy retail sportsbooks, but the mobile offerings aren't ideal. Some D.,C., council members want to allow other mobile sportsbook operators to have mobile access across D,C.: BetMGM, Caesars Sportsbook, and FanDuel have restrictions limiting their mobile operations to two blocks around their respective retail stores.
