Geoglyph Eclipses Stablemate Equinox Down the Stretch in 82nd Satsuki Sho

Geoglyph Eclipses Stablemate Equinox won the 82nd Satsuki Sho. It was trainer Tetsuya Kimura's second JRA G1 victory. Do Deuce, Danon Beluga, Ask Victor More, Onyankopon and Ask More finished a neck behind one another.

Geoglyph won the race. Fukunaga rode him wide and he was able to take the lead. The colt was fifth pick. The upcoming Japanese Derby will be held at 400 meters. It will determine if Geoglygh can handle the distance.

The Tokyo Yushun (Japanese Derby) is the second leg of the Japanese Triple Crown. This year's race is set for May 29 at Tokyo Racecourse. On October 23, the Kikuka Sho ( Japanese St. Ledger) will be held at Hanshin Race Course.
