Georgia Football: Bulldogs' 2022 Spring Preview
Georgia is looking to repeat as national champions in 2022. Clemson hasn't done it yet. Alabama has done that only once. Miami didn't repeat in the early 2000s. USC's two crowns included a disputed championship.
Georgia is rebuilding its defensive line for the 2021 national championship team. Jordan Davis, Devonte Wyatt and Travon Walker are leaving for NFL. Jalen Carter and Zion Logue are coming up. Tramel Walthour is primed to be a breakout playmaker up front.
Dan Lanning left for the head-coaching vacancy at Oregon. Will Muschamp will take over the defensive coordinator position. Glenn Schumann will be the new defensive co-coordinator.
Georgia won the national championship with quarterback Stetson Bennett. Bennett's play in the second half of the championship was stellar. He will return with the additional eligibility granted due to the pandemic.
Georgia Football's 2022 spring practice is on April 4th. Early enrollees include 5-star Malaki Starks, Daylen Everette and Earnest Greene.
Georgia is expected to win the national championship this year. The coming months will shape the mentality of the team.
