Ignacio Ambriz is the manager of Toluca. He spent his whole playing career in Mexico, playing for 6 different clubs. Ambriz won the Copa America in 1993 and the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 1994. In 1995 he played for Los Rayos and won a league and cup double. He was called up to the Mexico squad for the 1994 World Cup. Ambriz was sacked by SD Huesca in 2021. He was replaced by Ignacio who has won 17 of 40 matches since then. Ambriz will look to end a 10-year title drought for tournament specialists Tolucawhen they face Almada and his Pachuca side.
