Godolphin's Highbank made a brilliant debut in the 7f maiden at Newmarket. He beat his stablemate Bold Act by 3/3 lengths. Godolphin has won the last four Guineas races. Charlie Appleby trained the horses. He has also trained Dhahabi and Modern Games.
Glenn Roeder died last year of a brain tumour. Newmarket hosted a Glenn Roedser Raceday in his memory. The event raised almost £200,000 for The Brain Tumour Charity. Lethal Levi won the £50,00 Glenn Radeser Race Day Handicap.
Clive Cox sponsored the 7f fillies' handicap won by Dubai Love. Clive Cox wanted to contribute to a brain tumour charity. Night Narcissus was supposed to run in the race but the thunderstorms stayed away and the ground was too quick for her to go.
