Good morning racing fans! We are back for another exciting week of racing from Saratoga!!! The days are beginning to wind down on the meet and although there’s a little rain expected I’m optimistically handicapping for fast and firm conditions. Let’s get to work!

Saratoga:

Race 9: Mo Damorninggrouch - 1 pt win (US Morning Line Odds: 8/1)

A rough-looking group of maiden claiming fillies and mares bred in New York will close out our race card and since returning from her layoff, Mo Damorninggrouch has put up two consecutive races that were good enough to take this. Two back she finished a strong third defeating a few contenders she’ll see again today. Last time out she finished less than a length behind Red Butterfly who’s 7/2 on today’s morning line. Mo hails from an underrated turf sprint barn of Pat Reynolds (17% wins) and should sit the trip just off the speed and get first jump on her tiring rivals.
