Guineas on agenda next year for Haydock winner Triple Time

Triple Time won the Betfair Exchange Ascendant Stakes at Haydock Park on Saturday. Kevin Ryan plans to take aim at next year's QIPCO 2000 Guineas with his horse. Triple Time was introduced at 33-1 for the 2000 guinea by Paddy Power and Bet Fair. Sheikh Mohammed Obaid wants to discuss a Royal Lodge Stake at Newmarket later this month. He has done everything he needed to do this year. The horse is a home-bred horse of Sheikh Mohammad Obayd. It is going to be an exciting horse for next season. There is no word on the Royal lodge.

Artistic Rifles is the biggest winner of Ed Bethell's first year as a trainer. He was at a wedding with his girlfriend in Ireland. Artistic Rifle won the Betfair Double Daily Rewards Superior Mile Stakes. It was Andrea Atzeni's second win in a Group race. James Bethel will take over from his father James at the start of 2021. The horse went through the sales last year for £4,000 and didn't get a bid.

Island Brave won the Betfair Exchange Old Borough Cup Handicap by half a length from Alright Sunshine. Owner Donald Kerr called it a great result. Island Brave had lost seven straight races before this victory. He was trained by Heather Main and ridden by Silvestre de Sousa. It was his eighth run this year. He won his maiden at Lingfield. His trainer, James and Heather did a fantastic job. In two or three days he will be bucking and kicking. The horse will probably be running again. They let him lollop along at the back and let the horse just come through.
