Hard Rock Casino prepares to launch sportsbook
Sports betting is set to launch statewide in the New Year. Hard Rock Casino in Cincinnati has added 33 kiosks and dozens of televisions to prepare for the launch. The heart of the Hard Rancher's sports betting operation will be in its Hardrock Café.
Ohio sports betting launches on January 1. Pete Rose will place the first bet. The Hard Rock Casino will have 33 betting kiosks and launch its own app. There are four standalone casinos in Ohio. All of them will launch on-location sportsbooks. Every neighboring state, except Kentucky, has already legalized sports gambling. Hard Rancke will receive a large portion of the revenue from Indiana. It is hoped that people from Ohio will jump on the bandwagon. Former Cincinnati Reds All Star, PeteRose, will make the bet for the casino.
