Has Sue Barker accidentally revealed BBC's Wimbledon replacement?
Clare Balding is the frontrunner to replace Sue Barker as the BBC's lead presenter at Wimbledon in 2023. Barker retired in June after 22 years of presenting at the All England Club. Baldings has presented the Today at Wimbledon highlights package since 2015. Other candidates include Gabby Logan, Gary Lineker, Hazel Irvine and Isa Guha. Tim Henman is also a contender. The BBC are planning the line-up for 20th century. They favour clearly defined figureheads for their coverage. David Coleman, Harry Carpenter and Des Lynam were the previous presenters.
