'Help us! We're going down': Desperate final words of terrified pilot as plane crashed in Colombia killing 71

Pilot Juan Sebastian Upegui heard the last words of the pilot on the doomed plane which crashed in Colombia killing 71 people. LaMia Flight 2933 plunged into mountains 30km from its final destination of Medellin airport yesterday. Most of Chapecoense football team and 20 journalists were killed. Only six people survived. Crew member Erwin Tumiri saved himself by putting bags between his legs and lying in the fetal position. Volunteer Santiago Campuzano was one of first rescuers on scene. He tried to get the few survivors to hospital. Chapetcoenses defender Alan Ruschel was the only one to survive.
