Highfield Princess takes out the Nunthorpe Stakes
Highfield Princess won the Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes at York. She is the fourth Yorkshire trained filly to win the race in the last 8 years. The fillie made her handicap debut some 24 starts earlier off a lowly mark of 57. Her previous 10 wins had mainly been over 7 furlongs.
